Scarlett - Flight

Finally got off my bee~hind and am posting my flight pics.
Acutally, Rob took the bee pics. I don't do bees. :)
Clicking on any pic will make it larger to see.

So technically the dragonfly isn't in flight, but have YOU ever tried to take a pic of a tiny dragonfly in flight? It's hard! They have skinny bodies. Obviously NS worked for them.
The hummingbirds I took back in August while up in my home town.
It was my first experience seeing so many at once in the same place.

The next two pics are from our vacation in Colorada Springs.
Garden of the Gods. Beautiful. Just beautiful. I highly recommend visiting there.
And meeting Amy wasn't half bad either. ;)

This last pic was taken a few weeks ago here from our front lawn.
Someone in the area was getting married. This plane flew around and around.

I know I told you I love the bee, and that was Rob's. :) But I absolutely love the hummingbirds. I have a feeder similar to the one in the picture on my front porch, and I love to watch them. Great photos. It's amazing how fast those little wings flutter.

You did great! I really like the work on the hummingbirds at the feeder. Shutter speed slow enough that the wings show motion and appeture high enough to blur the background.

Rob did a great job with the bee as well. Considering you are using closeup lens attachments and not a macro lens I'm sure he needed to be just a little to close for comfort!
